My Blogging Journey

my blogging journey

So, this was a very big question when I was starting my own blogging journey. I heard from so many bloggers that it is not easy to write and promote content at the same time especially when you are also a part of 9–5 culture. So, how do you write more blog posts in 2021?

This is a sort of a goal you need to manifest first and then start working on it. There is a big rave about vision boards and the things that you can manifest using these vision boards.

So, I tried doing the same thing and found exciting results. But my story is divided into two parts where I have written some blog posts on my own and some I have got from a freelancing website called Fiverr.com.

This the coolest website that I came across. This website has the best content writers who provide content at such cheap rates that are unimaginable. COOL, right.

The most important thing is I got a 1000 word article just at $10. I was shaken.

You can also go to this site and get your articles written.

This is the link: https://fvrr.co/3gvNjtV.

This is an affiliate link and I will receive some commissions when you get your work done but it won’t cost you an extra penny.

Coming to the point how did I manage to reach my goal of content writing?

You should know some maths here: How will you earn $100 through AdSense on your blog? How many articles do you need to have? How much time will it take?

Although it depends upon the niche still you should also have some blog posts, right.

If your RPM is $10 then you might need 10,000 page views to make $100 from your blog.

Now it depends that how many blog posts you have written and what is your exact page views on each of the blogs.

Suppose you have 1000 page views on your article per month per blog post, then, you might have to write 10 articles. But this is a very small possibility and just an example.

In countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and many other surrounding countries RPM is as low as $0.5.

In this case, you will need 200k page views for $100.

Now, if the scenario is the same as 1000 page views per blog post per month, you will need to write around 200 blog posts in the first 4 months of blogging.

4 months is 120 days and 200 blog posts. Does it sound possible? Do you have the determination to only write and write in this many days?

No, right.

But you can make a target of writing 1 blog post daily. This is the story of the very first blog I published. Now discontinued. But still, I managed to get around 100 blog posts in the starting 3 months.

I was taught to write a lot from my childhood. I had a passion for writing as well as the passion to teach and help others with something.

So, the first niche that I took was weight loss and mainly health because I lost a lot of weight at that time. But the competition was very fierce, so I decided to quit that niche and start another niche.

I wrote 1 article every single day.

I planned my content on Sundays. Found good keywords and wrote a blog post every day and published it.

I managed to write about 90 articles in the first 3 months. But there were no views on my articles whatsoever.

I was about to quit when I learned that I need to promote my blog in order to get some views. I started with Pinterest. Though Pinterest was helping me I still did not receive any payments in the beginning. Already had applied to Adsense by then.

I decided to quit that niche right there and then. So, my first blog was a complete failure.

In my second blog, I followed the same content writing strategy but started to promote my blog posts on the very first day of publishing my content.

This time Pinterest did help me a lot but still, it was not up to the mark where I could just leave my 9–5 and concentrate on blogging only.

So, I decided to invest the money that I earned in email marketing software and some freelancers to write content.

There comes in call Fiverr.

Fiverr has helped me a lot in growing my online business.

But there is a long way to go. In my eyes, I am just a beginner and I want to scale my income as much as possible.

If you are thinking about starting a blog and are confused about whether to start or not I would highly recommend you start one today.

Want to learn about low competition niches here is a list.

Hope you enjoyed this.
